Kakimoto Kai brand original products were introduced to the world, and in order to keep up with the dramatic increase in sales, the sales department was separated and Runup Sports Sales was established.
During this time, sales of the company's original sports mufflers ranked third in the country.

In October, Runup Sports Sales was incorporated as a limited company.

In April, Kakimoto Racing opened a new facility called "Super Factory & Works" as a base for disseminating information about the "HYPERTUNNING SYSTEM" and as a base for providing user services, attracting attention from industry insiders.

In October, the company achieved an unprecedented 1.015 horsepower in tuning a commercially available engine, a first in Japan.。
