An essential item for upgrading your exhaust tuning.
Roughly speaking, the exhaust system of a car is arranged in the following order immediately after the engine: exhaust manifold → catalyst → muffler.
Of these, if the catalyst is removed, the car will not comply with safety standards, so when people refer to the exhaust system today, they are generally referring to the part after the catalyst.
The "rear piece" refers to the rearmost section. Exhaust tuning with only the rear piece results in a relatively gradual change in volume and is very affordable. Even if you only use the rear piece of the Kakimoto exhaust system, you can enjoy increased power across the entire RPM range, increased torque in the low and mid-range RPM range of 2000-3500 rpm, and improved sound quality by adopting mechanisms unique to Kakimoto, such as the power reducer structure.
However!, for those users who want to try more serious exhaust tuning, Kakimoto Kai has the next step up for you: the Kakimoto Kai Center Pipe.
While there are many users who feel that the sound is too quiet and unsatisfying, and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a center pipe, there are also users who are concerned: "I'm interested in the increased power and torque that can be achieved by tuning the center pipe, but what if the sound becomes too loud?"
Although it is generally referred to as a change in volume, it is true that it varies depending on the car model.
For vehicles such as the ODYSSEY and ELGRAND, which do not originally have a main muffler in the rear piece and have the main muffler located in the center pipe, simply replacing the rear piece will feel more like a change in sound quality rather than volume. The sound volume is slightly louder than the genuine exhaust, but not too loud, and you will feel a comfortable bass sound. For these models, we especially recommend replacing the center pipe. What we are looking forward to is the change to a more comfortable sound quality and volume with more emphasis on bass.
On the other hand, for models such as the ALPHARD and ESTIMA, where the main muffler is located in the rear piece, the sound will be quite loud even if you only replace the rear piece. If you are worried that the sound will become louder if you also replace the center pipe, there is no need to worry.
The volume remains within the range of safety standards, and the "Kakimoto Kai Center Pipe" offers the ultimate tuning upgrade, a feature that no other product can match.
This front pipe is packed with overwhelming know-how in terms of development philosophy, front pipe tuning theory, and driving tests.
It was Kakimoto Kai who first started calling the exhaust after the turbine the "front pipe" and created the concept of tuning this part. This front pipe inherits the high performance of the Premium front pipe, which was created after thoroughly testing the exhaust efficiency of the turbo, and is a genuine compatible front pipe that considers the pipe diameter and line layout for each vehicle model, pursuing engine performance and characteristics. Kakimoto Kai's "kai" is always seeking more power, never being satisfied with the results produced by accumulated tests and efforts. This front pipe is a condensed expression of overwhelming know-how in terms of development philosophy, front pipe tuning theory, and driving tests.
